“ This place is a hidden gem. It has been here since 1938. I can't believe we have never been. The food is excellent! The service was excellent! The setting is overlooking Bluff Lake and beautiful. The interior is full of nostalgia. We had the fish fry. There are many options. Lightly battered and fried perch, or garlic grilled haddock, or boiled something (might have been haddock also). All exceeded our expectations! Cones with both soup and salad. The night we went the soup was a homemade pork and dumpling. Wow! There were many other fish options on the menu as well as other options as well. Many with a German flair. Definitely going back. Looking forward to sitting outside on one of the decks overlooking the lake. ”
